10. Number 10

Beep.. beep.. beep.. beep.

The sound of the alarm going off filled their ears until a rather large hand came out from underneath the 400 thread count sheets and hit the snooze button. A low groan then escaped as the figure turned over and wrapped it's arm around the pregnant woman beside him.

"Is it six thirty already?" a delicate voice asked as she too turned towards him. "Mmhm..," was all that escaped his lips as he nuzzled his face against her neck. They stayed there like that for another five minutes until the beeping of the alarm started going off again. "We'd better get up," she sighed then slipped out from under the blankets and sheets before putting on her robe, tying it securely around her protruding waist, and then left the room.

Upon entering the kitchen she pressed the little red on button to the coffee maker before turning back around and headedstraight to another room located on the other side of the house. "Rise and shine little one," she spoke softly after entering the room and planting a kiss upon her daughter's head. The small body seemed to fight against the urge to wake. "Not now mommy," she protested, "I sleep more." Her mother laughed gently as she stood up. "Am I going to have to get Daddy to come in and get you?" she threatened. "YES!" the little dark haired girl replied almost immediately, "get Daddy! Get Daddy!" "Alright then," the woman said giving into her daughter's plea.

After telling her husband that their daughter didn't want to get out of bed without Daddy's help, she took back off towards the kitchen to start breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs was on the menu. "His favorite," she thought out loud while starting to prepare the scrumptious meal.

Once the biscuits were in the oven and the bacon was on the stove top frying away, really high pitched squeals could be heard from the back room. Just the thought and vision of her husband playing with their daughter brought a smile to the woman's face and not even a few moments later did her tall dark husband come bouncing into their spacious kitchen with their daughter upon his shoulder's. "Morning dearest," he said with a smile before placing a kiss upon her cheek and patted her giant belly, causing a smile to appear once again upon her lips, "smells delicious."

"Why don't you go wake the rest of the children," she suggested before turning back towards the stove top and flipped the bacon. "Sure," he replied as he left spun around on his heels and left the kitchen.

Thirty minutes later the entire family was sitting around their large cherry oak dinner table enjoying their breakfast before having to head off to school and work for the day, however the meal was soon interrupted when the woman winced. "What's wrong?" the man asked his wife.

"It's time to--"

Beep.. beep.. beep.. beep..

Heidi awoke with a start as her alarm exploded in her ears. "Stupid alarm," she groaned as she hit the off switch, turned around and curled up with her pillow, "you just disrupted the most amazing dream ever. Tenjukai and I were about to welcome number ten into the world."
